Black Sash Promotion, Lab, & Combined Sparring
Saturday May 30th 2026, Shigong Gary and Shifu Cheyenne joined us for a Combined Sparring class and a Kung Fu lab.
For the Combined Sparring class, we worked as usual on bridging the gap between principles and applications both in push hands and in sparring. For the Kung Fu Lab, we did a deep dive on the first part of Eight Step Fist, a traditional Huaquan form.
Additionally, Jo Gao Cassie Johnson received her certified black sash. Congratulations ma’am!
