Yoga
“Change is not something that we should fear. Rather, it is something that we should welcome. For without change, nothing in this world would ever grow or blossom, and no one in this world would ever move forward to become the person they’re meant to be.”
B.K.S. Iyengar

Thai Yoga with Karen
Fridays 5:30-6:45pm
Sometimes called “lazy man’s yoga”, Thai yoga is a yoga practice in which the student is guided through a series of “passive” yoga postures (“asanas”), usually seated or lying down. The instructor then uses their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure to the student, guiding them into a deeper stretch and applying pressure which will gently increase the student’s range of motion, flexibility, and circulation. It is a gentle type of yoga that is very beginner friendly.
Note: Students should not attend if they are not comfortable being touched by the instructor.
Students must be 13 or older.
