Saturday March 21st, we travelled to New York to participate in the 11th Annual Sanda Seminar with my Shigong, Shifu Gregg Zilb of Authentic Shaolin Kung Fu. It was a ton of fun and we had a great time training with our extended Kung Fu family.

One thing I appreciate about our Kung Fu system and Shigong Gregg’s instruction is the connection between the Kung Fu system and sparring. The fighting is not a separate facet of the training - if you are training forms and sparring correctly, they are complimenting each other.

I had a blast and look forward to next year’s, when I hope more of my students will join me!
