I am so proud of my student Leona for competing in her first tournament. She worked hard in preparation and got the medals to show for it:

  • 1st Place Weapons

  • 3rd Place Empty Hand

  • 3rd Place Sparring

She did an amazing job and I am so proud of her for representing our school at this event, where we were the only Kung Fu school! I also want to thank her dads Dan and Keith for supporting her training, and taking a day out of their weekend to support Kung Fu (and the martial arts in general) in our communities.

I also want to congratulate Master Robert Whitman and Ms. Brynda Whitman for a well-organized, fun, and friendly event. We will definitely be back next year!
