Happy Pride Month!

Metrowest Kung Fu is a business that always has been and always will be inclusive of students regardless of gender or sexual orientation! To celebrate, we are selling Fire Horse-themed pride t-shirts. Grab one off our school website; there are also “straight ally” shirts for straight folks who would like to show their support for their queer classmates. If your pride flag is not listed, just contact Shifu.

We’ll also be participating in Maynard Pride Sunday June 7th! We will have a booth at the festival. We will have:

• Board-breaking

• Prize wheel

• Merchandise

I am looking for volunteers to help! I’ll be arriving at 10:30am to set up our table and pop-up tent. We will need 4 to 5 teens and/or adults at our booth to:

• Help set up (10:30am-12pm)

• Hold boards for kids to break

• Manage prize wheel and hand out “treasures” from our treasure chest

• Help people fill out interest form (required to break boards and/or spin prize wheel)

• Talk with interested students/parents and answer questions (ideally me)

• Take pictures and videos for social media use

• Break down (4-4:30pm)

You don’t have to volunteer for the entire time; you’re welcome to come for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, or stay the whole time. Please let me know if you are able to help!
