Classes July 23rd

There will be no adult Kung Fu, double sticks, or sparring class this Saturday, July 23rd. Kids Kung Fu and yoga will run as scheduled, and Sifu Gary will be visiting us to conduct the Tai Chi ranking at 11AM.

After the ranking, we will be driving down to the Worcester school's new location in Auburn to help them in painting and construction in preparation for holding classes there at the beginning of August. The new space is over twice the size of the old Worcester school. It is a beautiful location, but needs a lot of work before it's ready to hold classes.

In traditional Kung Fu schools, students are expected to support their teacher and school however they can, and the commitment often goes well above and beyond simply coming to class and paying tuition on time. Many of the Worcester students understand this, which is why worked so hard to help us during the renovations of our school in Maynard after Warrior's Way closed. It takes a village...without their help, we would not have a school right now. This is our chance to pay them back and show our gratitude for their hard work and their unconditional support of Metrowest Kung Fu.

Those who would like to join us may meet us at Metrowest Kung Fu at noon. If we have a lot of people, we can carpool, it is about a 40 minute drive to the new location in Auburn. We will likely grab dinner together in the evening to celebrate our hard work.

We hope to see you there. Thank you for continuing to train with us and for being a part of our Kung Fu family!
